UK Concrete.
Positioning the UK’s concrete industry for a net zero future
Delivering engaging materials to convey the industries steps to cut emissions through technology and innovation.
Concrete is the most used resource in the world after water and is fundamental to shaping our built environment. It plays an essential role in delivering new homes, schools and hospitals, as well as critical infrastructure providing us with clean water and renewable energy.
We have worked with the Mineral Products Association (MPA) to create materials for UK Concrete, which is championing the proactive steps the UK industry is taking to support the transition to a net zero society.
By creating the UK industry’s first ‘Roadmap to Beyond Net Zero’, the Camargue Group (jfd and Camargue) helped to set out a clear path for net negative concrete by 2050. Endorsed by the Government’s Committee on Climate Change, it has helped inform a strategic programme of stakeholder engagement, targeting influential industry opinion formers, politicians and policymakers.
The creative approach developed for the report was rolled-out across a wider range of supporting materials. This included a simple and engaging infographic style, a suite of multi-use assets was created, and used to illustrate previously complex process diagrams, through to simple animated social media posts.
